SOCIOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF COVID-19 ON THE LEARNING PROCESS AT EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS OF DISTRICT CHITRAL, KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA, PAKISTAN

The study aims to investigate the impact of COVID-19 on the learning process in educational institutions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. This phenomenon is a global issue and affects almost all aspects of society. Economy and education are regarded as the most affected in any society. In-depth interviews were the most convenient tool for data collection, and information was collected from 4 respondents, respectively. All participants were associated with educational activities and institutions in the targeted area. The sample size was selected through convenience sampling, and the collected information was analyzed thematically. The issue badly affects the educational institutions in the targeted district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. The study is very significant in highlighting the hurdles faced by laymen, the community, and governmental organizations. Furthermore, the study outlines strategic measures to mitigate the impact of widespread pandemics and emphasizes the importance of implementing appropriate protocols to effectively manage emerging epidemics on a global scale.
