Abstract

The primary goal of this research study is to examine the diversified media landscape in rural and urbanized communities in Pakistan. This study will discuss how the media landscape is varied and how it affects different communities. The researchers employed a quantitative research approach to gather the data for this study. The survey was conducted using a questionnaire. A total of 650 people from rural and urban areas of Pakistan were chosen from a stratified random sample. According to the findings, the media plays an essential role in the social development of any society. According to popular belief, those who live in urban areas are more technologically adept than those in rural areas. In urban locations, the media landscape serves as the primary source of information and knowledge for the general population. There was also a strong correlation between survey findings and media coverage, showing that the media plays a vital role in bringing attention to a wide range of social concerns confronting the urban population compared with rural areas.
