The purpose of this study is to investigate the errors/faults that were made in 25 English essays that were distributed and collected from 25 participants who were enrolled in secondary schools at Union Council Lilownai. The participants in this study come from secondary school background, do not speak English as compare to their native language, and have relatively low writing abilities in the language. Essays written in English contributed by students are used as the research instrument. The researchers assessed 25 English essays using Rod Ellis's (1994) procedural analysis of errors, which comprised gathering a sample of learner language, finding errors, describing errors, explaining errors, and assessing errors. The researchers also evaluated errors. Language acquisition problems have been brought in to light as a result of this study. These problems occur when second language learners internalize the production norms of the target language (TL) at a particular point in time, which results in errors that are novel and more natural. When it comes to developing a curriculum that will effectively educate and learn about English as a second language, English teachers can use these blunders as a helpful reference to create a curriculum.
